SUMMARY:Challenge on Extreme-Hetero Application Programming
DESCRIPTION:Taisuke Boku (University of Tsukuba, Japan)\n\nGPU-centric acc
 elerated supercomputing is still on the main stream for HPC and AI applica
 tions. However, in the next generation's systems, we need to consider wide
 r variety of accelerators in different style of systems from the architect
 ure level. On such complicated systems, what is the best way of programmin
 g keeping the balance between programmability/productivity and performance
 ? We have been working on the multi-hetero accelerated environment to comb
 ine GPU and FPGA in a single platform to apply complicated multiphysics ap
 plications with 360-degree manner of utilization of accelerating devices. 
 There are several approaches from the naive implementation to the high-lev
 el directive-base approach. In this talk, I will present the programming m
 odel, supporting language system, and target applications with the impleme
