Biography
Dr. Xin Liang is a tenure-track associate professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky and the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and as a Computer/Data Scientist in the Workflow Systems Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Riverside, in 2019 and his bachelor’s degree from Peking University in 2014. His research interests include high-performance computing, parallel and distributed systems, scientific data management and reduction, big data analytics, and scientific visualization.
