Principal Solutions Architect
Taylor Groves is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Principal Solutions Architect at Lightmatter since June 2023, following a role as Senior Solutions Architect. Prior experience includes serving as an HPC Architecture and Performance Researcher at Berkeley Lab, where responsibilities included performance assessment of the HPE-Slingshot interconnect and design contributions to the Perlmutter supercomputer. Previous roles involved research at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on power-performance trade-offs in large-scale Infiniband networks, and various positions in academic settings, including research and teaching at the University of New Mexico. Taylor Groves also interned in network infrastructure at Yahoo! and held positions in quality assurance and IT support. Educational background includes a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas State University.
