Biography
Rohan Basu Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Kahlert School of Computing and a faculty member of the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute at the University of Utah. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, in 2025. He conducts research on scheduling and optimization in various forms of parallel and distributed computing systems, including cloud computing, serverless platforms, and high performance computing systems. The goal of his research is to enhance the productivity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of these large-scale systems.
