Antigoni Georgiadou

Biography
Antigoni Georgiadou is an Applied Mathematician at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Science Engagement Section, Algorithms & Performance Analysis (APA) Group. Dr. Georgiadou obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Florida State University where she worked on optimization in stellar evolution applications. She is part of the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility where she serves as a scientific liaison to applications with expertise in plasma physics and she collaborates with application scientists from astrophysics and fusion science to optimize performance and requirements of applications on supercomputers. Dr. Georgiadou serves as a Technical Committee Member of the INCITS/Fortran, the committee that is responsible for developing the standards for the Fortran programming language. At the SC23 and SC24 conferences, she organized the workshop series Enabling Predictive Science with Optimization and Uncertainty Quantification in HPC (EPSOUQ-HPC). Dr. Georgiadou is the Uncertainty Quantification working group lead in OLCF.
