Wenhuan Tan, a post-baccalaureate fellow at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has rapidly made her mark in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) for biomedical and healthcare research. With a foundation in computer science from Bellevue College, Washington State, Wenhuan's academic journey spanned from 2019 to 2023, culminating in her earning a bachelor's degree in March 2023.

In September 2021, she embarked on a collaboration with esteemed researchers, Dr. Silvia Crivelli and Dr. Xinlian Liu. Together, they delved deep into AI applications for biomedical research, a field where Wenhuan's innate talent for data science and machine learning shone brightly. She is actively considering enrolling in a PhD/MS program, with computer science or biomedical informatics as her chosen field of study.
