Biography
I am a PhD student in the Center for Applied Mathematics at Cornell University and a Fellow of the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) program as well as the GEM program. I am interested in the areas of scientific computing, numerical analysis, and dynamical systems. My current research focus is on developing symmetry-adapted Lanczos (SAL) methods to locate and compute the continuous eigenspectra and discrete eigenvalues of the ideal magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) force operator independently, symmetry class by symmetry class in order to efficiently exploit HPC resources.
