Amal Gueroudji

Biography
Amal Gueroudji is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. Her research focuses on high-performance computing (HPC) workflows, HPC/ML integration, data services for large-scale systems, performance characterization, and provenance on hybrid HPC architectures. She was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Ph.D. fellowship, during which she conducted her research at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). Her doctoral work centered on programming models for HPC workflows, addressing the challenges of integrating asynchronous tasking with traditional bulk-synchronous execution.
In addition to her research in workflow systems, she has experience in compiler design and GPU code generation, particularly in the context of optimizing data movement and parallelism across heterogeneous architectures.
