Alice-Agnes Gabriel is Associate Professor at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego. She is a geophysicist combining simulations, routinely utilizing the largest supercomputers worldwide, with data-driven techniques and theoretical analysis in the hope of increasing safety during and in the aftermath of natural disasters.
