Gene Cooperman is a professor of Computer Science at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. He had joined GTE Laboratories in 1980, had joined Northeastern University in 1986, and has been a full professor since 1992. He has over 125 refereed publications. He has interests in computer systems, high performance computing, transparent checkpoint-restart, and novel methods for debugging.
