Biography
Kaan Olgu is a 3rd-year PhD student in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the University of Bristol, specialising in Graph Processing Algorithms, particularly the Breadth First Search algorithm. Working under supervision of Prof Simon McIntosh-Smith at the High-Performance Computing Research Group in University of Bristol and Prof Jose Nunez-Yanez from Linkoping University. Kaan is dedicated to optimising graph algorithms for enhanced performance on FPGAs. With a passion for pushing boundaries and addressing challenges in memory access patterns and scalability, Kaan's research aims to revolutionise graph processing and pave the way for smarter algorithms with broader scientific applications.
