Biography
Scott Levy researches system software for next-generation extreme-scale systems at Sandia National Laboratories. Specifically, he studies the impact of system failures, and other sources of performance interference, on the execution time of scientific simulations. He has a demonstrated track record of publishing HPC research, including papers on fault tolerance at SC14, SC16, and SC18. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
