Biography
Atif is a staff scientist at Brookhaven National Lab. His doctoral research focused on the development of entropic lattice Boltzmann methods their application in simulating aerodynamics, natural convection, compressible, multiphase, and turbulent flows. His research interests include mathematical modeling, multiscale analysis, numerical methods, and high performance computing. He holds experience in algorithm design, software development, and profiling and optimization of scientific software.
