Phil Cayton
Biography
Phil Cayton is an Intel Engineer with 28 years researching and developing scalable storage, distributed compute infrastructure, and fabrics technologies.
Phil has been involved with industry initiatives and standards for many years and has developed industry architecture and prototypes for projects including InfiniBand, NVMe/NVMe-oF, the SNIA Swordfish specification, Sunfish (the OpenFabrics Management Framework), and others.
He is the OFA Vice-Chair, OFA Marketing Co-Chair, Co-Chair of the NVMe Consortium Boot Task Group, a technical lead for SNIA SSM, and sets the agenda for the NVMe Technical Working Group.
