Biography
Keita Teranishi is currently the Group Leader of the Programming Systems Group in the Advanced Computing Research Section at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Previously, he held positions as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories in California and as a Software Engineer at Cray Inc. Keita earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and obtained his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University.

Keita's research interests encompass various areas, including numerical linear algebra and tensor computation, software testing and formal verification for scientific computing, fault tolerance, and programming systems for high-performance computing (HPC) systems. He also serves as the Principal Investigator of the Programming Systems Sustainability project, which is funded by the DOE ASCR's software sustainability seedling collaborations for Post Exascale Computing. With his expertise and leadership, Keita contributes significantly to the advancement of programming systems and sustainability in HPC.
