Ron Dror is Professor of Computer Science and, by courtesy, of Structural Biology and of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Stanford University. Dr. Dror leads a research group that uses machine learning and molecular simulation to elucidate biomolecular structure, dynamics and function, and to guide the development of more effective medicines. He served for over a decade as a senior research scientist and manager at D. E. Shaw Research, having joined as its first hire.
