Ambarish Nag is a Senior Researcher in the Data Analysis and Visualization Group of the Computational Science Center at NREL. He has a Ph.D. in computational chemistry from the University of Chicago and joined NREL in 2009. His current interests involve the application of mathematical modeling, data science and machine learning to multiple aspects of renewable energy research, namely bioenergy, transportation, high-performance computing, photovoltaics and the smart grid.
