Giri Chukkapalli is a renowned computer scientist and engineer with over 30 years of experience in high-performance computing, parallel algorithms, and supercomputer architecture. His Ph.D. research introduced novel methods for solving Shallow Water Equations using spherical spiral-based Finite Element meshes. Giri has contributed to major platforms like BlueGene/L and TACC Ranger, and held key roles at SDSC, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Cray, Broadcom, and NVIDIA. His expertise spans performance analysis, system architecture, and energy-efficient ARM64-based SoC designs for pre-Exascale systems. At NVIDIA, he leads innovation in the CTO office, advancing the Grace chip architecture.
