Biography
Bill Miller is the Senior Advisor in the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure at the National Science Foundation. He has been deeply involved in strategic activities for cyberinfrastructure, planning and oversight of NSF’s large-scale scientific facilities, federal-wide priority initiatives, and international coordination on Open Science. He holds a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of California, Davis, and conducted careers in both fields for several decades prior to his government service.
