Doug Jacobsen holds a bachelors in Computational Physics from Oregon State University, and a Masters and Ph.D. in Scientific Computing from Florida State University. His current work interests focus on application performance and optimization of a wide range of workloads. He has held positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Intel, and Google. His past work includes ocean and climate modeling, performance analysis, algorithmic optimization, and general software engineering.
