Biography
Alexander Brace is a Computer Science PhD Student at the University of Chicago advised by Ian Foster and Arvind Ramanathan. He received his B.S.E in Computer Science (2020) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Afterward, he spent a year as a Research Associate in the Data Science and Learning Division at Argonne National Laboratory where his research was awarded two ACM Gordon Bell Prizes for High Performance Computing at SC20 and SC22. Alexander is interested in multidisciplinary research applying artificial intelligence to problems in biology through automated science.
