Floris-Jan is a Ph.D. student at the Netherlands eScience Center and the University of Amsterdam. His current research focuses on automated optimization for accelerators and high-performance computing, specifically regarding optimization problems in the auto-tuning of GPU kernels. Prior to this, he obtained his master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with a focus on parallel computing systems.
