Biography
Phuong Nguyen is a researcher at the Innovative Computing Laboratory (ICL) at the University of Tennessee. Her current work involves enhancing the performance and portability of the linear algebra library Ginkgo - using C++ and SYCL, with an emphasis on optimizations for Intel GPUs.

Prior to joining ICL, Phuong obtained a master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Material Science from the University of Tartu, Estonia.
