Biography
Antonio J. Peña is a senior researcher with Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) where he leads the Accelerators and Communications for HPC team. He is a Ramón y Cajal Fellow and former Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellow. Among others, he is a recipient of the 2017 IEEE TCHPC Award for Excellence for Early Career Researchers in HPC and he is a senior ACM/IEEE member. His research interests are in the area of runtime systems and programming models for HPC and includes topics in resource heterogeneity and communications.
